Adding Comm1 and Comm2 Columns on Order View/Tab

Previously, the only way to view commission rates on an existing order was to click on the respective order.

Now, you can view commission rates for rep1/2 directly from the order view.

How do I enable comm1 and comm2 on the order view/tab?

Your showroom’s manager or owner may request for this option by emailing help@readytoview.com to have us enable this feature for your user-id. Once you receive confirmation of the changes to your user-id, please logout and log back in to proceed to the next step.

From the order view, click on “customize this view” then check “comm1” and “comm2.” Click “save selections” when done (see screenshot below).

Customer Ranking

Previously, the customer ranking logic averaged out the amount of times the customer is ranked. Showroom Exchange now gives you the ability to reset or overwrite the current customer ranking.

How do I enable this feature?

If you are an admin user and do not see your user-id listed under step 1, email help@readytoview.com for us to enable this feature for your user-id. If you want to enable this feature for your users, follow these steps:

1. Hover over the “Setup Categories” tab and click on “showroom users.”

2. Then click on the user that you want to enable the settings for.

3. Scroll down and check “Allow Reset ranking”

4. Click the green “Save” button when completed.

5. Once the option is enabled for the account, log out and log back in to apply the settings.

How Do I Reset Rankings?

1. On the customer view, search for a customer and click on them to edit.
2. Under “reset ranking” click on the stars

State and Country in Showroom Exchange

Previously, the state field was a required attribute when entering customers into showroom exchange.

With a recent update, the state field is no longer required when choosing countries other than the US, Canada, or Australia.

You can also create and associate your own state to a country. e.g. BC/British Columbia under Canada.

List All is Now Clear Search

In our continuous efforts to make Showroom Exchange more user friendly, we have changed the “List All” label to “Clear Search.”

“Clear Search” removes any prior criteria specified in the top row below the column headers, allowing you to start a fresh search.

Modify Commission Rates When Entering Invoices in JSC

JSC, our alternate customer, order, and invoice entry tool has been revised.

You can now modify the order commission rate from the JSC invoicing page. This feature has been available on the regular invoicing page but has now made its way to JSC.

BIGGER is Better – New Date Picker

Of course everyone knows that buttons are clickable… (Right?)

Wrong! shockingly, often users do not notice buttons on web pages.

SE uses buttons on many pages to specify the completion of specific actions.

Buttons are important components that must be easy to spot and use.

Building a consistent interface for our users is a constant process. We believe the newly designed buttons will help SE users become more productive. Having “larger” buttons will help you easily identify the correct action without wasting time.

Multi-row Delete Function for Notes View

You can now delete multiple notes simultaneously from the Notes view. This feature is useful for deleting multiple unwanted notes based on a predefined criterion. In this example, we want to delete all notes created for “china bistro”
1.   Specify the search criterion “china bistro*”
2.   Click on the main checkbox on the same row as the search fields. This checkbox means check or uncheck all notes listed.
3.   Click the red X to delete all checked notes. You will then be prompted to click OK to confirm the deletion.

Show Hint Feature

Enable hints to better utilize and maximize your Showroom Exchange experience.
To enable the hints feature, hover over “Setup Categories” and click on “settings.”
1.   Check the box to enable the hint feature
2.   Determine if you prefer HINT or ? as an indicator
3.   Click “Save My Options”
