View Previously Sent Personalized Bulk Emails in Showroom Exchange

You now have the ability to view past personalized bulk emails [PBEs] sent on or after May 4th. This new feature allows you to search & list past PBEs, view their recipients and re-send the emails to either the original recipients or to a new set of customers listed on the customer view.

Please click on the link below to view a brief tutorial on how to access the previously sent emails. Initially you will not see any past emails since this feature is not retroactive.

Upload Excel & PDF docs within Personalized Bulk Emails + more…

It’s been a pretty big week at Showroom Exchange. We have implemented some major new features and design changes.

The first new feature is the ability to upload PDF and Excel files in personalized bulk emails! This feature has been highly requested, and when you talk, we listen.

If you would like to see more of your feature requests be implemented, submit your requests or vote for exiling ones by visiting:

Our second new feature gives you the ability to search for customers based on their market call status (their phone color). Simply click on the main phone icon at the top of the market call column and perform your search.

Lastly, we have added a simple look to ‘printable version’ on the customer page. As you may have already noticed, the check boxes for printable version towards the bottom of the customer page have been removed. Instead, when clicking on the “printable version” link, you will be presented with a pop-up that prompts the user which fields you would like to show. Please see the screenshot below for more information.

We appreciate all of the feedback and suggestions that SE subscribers give us and invite you to send us more of your thoughts and ideas or simply vote on existing ones, visit http://feedback.showroomexchange.com

How to resize images for Showroom Exchange quickly and easily

One common question is, “How do I re-size this picture for Showroom Exchange”

While there are many ways to do this, we have decided to write about two popular options.

For users who only need to re-size one or two pictures or who work on Apple computers, the easiest way is to visit http://www.picresize.com/
Once there, you can upload your image and select the size you want it to be. We recommend a custom size of 640×480 or smaller for pictures or 800×600 for flyer-type pictures. The supported format for Showroom Exchange is either JPG or GIF.

If you are a Windows user and find that you have to resize pictures frequently, you may want to download ‘Powertoy Image Resizer’ from http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=30247

Once this program is downloaded and installed, you can select one or multiple pictures, right click on your mouse and select ‘resize picture’ Our recommended settings are the same, either 640×480 or 800×600.

* Review picresize.com privacy/terms
* Always check with your i.t. contact before installing a new application.

use a FREE converter to include your PDFs in personalized bulk emails

showrooms often receive line-sheets in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Personalized Bulk Email (PBE) feature accepts image formats (e.g., JPG) only. There are many free resources that can help with the conversion to JPEG.
