You are now able to run the “Sales – Summary/Detailed” report by “Cancellation” in Showroom Exchange. This will let you run reports that show orders that have been partially or fully cancelled. Also, you can further break down this report to show the different reasons that the orders were cancelled.
You can now assign a single note to multiple manufacturers
We have made a change to the “notes” section of showroom exchange that now lets you refer the note to multiple manufacturer’s at the same time. Â This will help users add notes more quickly as they do not have to add a common note for every manufacturer.
See the screen-shot below to show the multiple selection options for the mfrs.
The Open Orders Report can now be filtered by Open$
We’ve added a new feature to the “open orders report” that lets you search for open orders based on the dollars amount in addition to the percentage open.
For example, now you can search for orders that are $100 or more open in addition to a % search, e.g., 60% or more open
Fundamental change to the searching function in showroom exchange
In an effort to make searching simpler and more intuitive, we have made a change to the search function on view pages. This change does not apply to report filters.
You will no longer be required to use an asterisk (*) when doing a wildcard searches in any of the columns on the view pages, e.g., customers, orders, etc. We have changed Showroom Exchange so that all you need to do is type out the criteria you are looking for.
“fred†will yield the same result as “*fred*â€
“fred*†and “*fred†will still behave as they did before
If it is your preference to continuing using the old logic, we can switch your showroom back. Just email help@readytoview.com with the following subject, “switch back the search functionâ€

New Feature – You can now adjust the number of mfr’s you view on the customer page
We have now added a feature that lets you select the number of mfr’s you can view on the customers view page. Â Simply click on the word “mfr” in the mfr column and you can select how many mfr’s you would like to view . Â Also, you can expand the mfr list per customer simple by clicking on the red “show all” Â link.
As always, please do not hesitate to email us at help@readytoview.com if you have any questions.
Customers with No Orders range has expanded from 4 months to 12 months
Previously, when running the “Customers with No Orders for Specific Deliveries” report, the maximum date range you could select was 4 months. Due to requests, we have expanded the date range from 4 months to 12 months.
“Insert page-break after each rep” in Commission Reports
We have added a new check box in the “Commission – Summary or Detailed” report that allows the report to be printed with just one rep’s information per page. Â This means that you can print our all rep commissions at once and not have to worry about two reps showing on the same page.
Take a look at the screenshot below that shows the new feature.
Revised Open Order Calculations
Due to numerous requests by our clients; we have changed the default calculation for Open Order$.
When a negative invoice (or credit memo) is entered into Showroom Exchange, the “Open$†amount will be revised to show that negative invoice.
Since the good are returned (a negative invoice or credit memo was entered), the remaining balance must be addressed by:
– entering a cancellation (revision) for the open balance with the appropriate reason
– entering another invoice
Previously, when a negative invoice was entered, the “Open$†amount did not change.
If for any reason you would like to change your showroom’s open order calculations back to the old version, simply email your request to help@readytoview.com
Exclude Manufacturers from Customers
Customers in Showroom Exchange can be flagged for exclusion for specific manufacturer(s)/brands(s). This feature alerts you and your team from selling (either on permanent or short-term basis) certain brands(s) to a any customer. Reason for restricting the sale may vary, e.g.; distribution conflicts.
1) To exclude a customer from a mfr: on the customer tab, click on the warning sign icon (exclamation mark icon) in the manage column (see below). If you don’t see the warning sign, use customize this view to make the icon visible.
2) After clicking the icon, you’ll see a pop-up where you can select the mfrs to be marked for exclusion (see below).
3) You’ll notice you can also add notes to explain the reasoning for the exclusion (to share with your team members).
4) You can also add a “passing till” expiration date for temporary exclusions. For example, if a boutique cannot buy from a Mfr because they are passing until a future date/season, you can add that date to be reminded later (via email) to follow-up and know it’s time to re-engage the customer.
RELATED: Mfr Exclusion Warnings in Order Entry
After saving your mfr exclusions, you’ll see that if an order is entered for a customer from an excluded mfr, they will show in a red type on the customer tab (see below).
Customers that have mfr’s in the “mfr exclusion” list can view the manufacturers that are excluded in the mfrcode column regardless if the customer has ordered from the manufacturer or not. This allows a user to see a customer/manufacturer combination that is excluded even if no orders have been entered. (Please note that the excluded mfrs with NO orders will NOT show up when doing a search for a specific mfr)
New Feature – Search for customers who have ordered from a specific number of manfacturers
For example, you can now search for showrooms that have only ordered from 1 manufacturer. Â Simply select the drop-down next to the mfrcode column and select “1”. Â When you click on “search”, it will show you customers that have only ordered from that one manufacturer.
